Job Title - Assessor and Trainer (Children and Young People/Teaching Assistant)

 As part of our development, we are looking for another qualified and Experienced Assessor whose portfolio of qualifications will include single qualifications and Apprenticeship Frameworks at Levels 2-5 in Children and Young People Workforce and Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Teaching Assistant) and Key/Functional Skills at Levels 1 and 2.

 

You will be to training and assessing learners in Children and Young People Workforce and Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Teaching Assistant) at levels level 2, 3 and 5 and Apprenticeship Frameworks at levels 2 and 3 delivering the NVQ/Diploma,  Technical Certificate and Key/Functional Skills. 

 

·         You will be assessing and maintaining a caseload of learners within Children and Young People Workforce and Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Teaching Assistant)

·         You will deliver Key/Functional Skills and Technical Certificates

·         The role will primarily be work-based 
You will be required to work to targets 

·         You will manage a caseload of learners and be target driven

·         You will be responsible for managing your own diary. 

·         Maintenance of quality assurance in observations and candidates portfolios


Essential Requirements:

·         D32/33/34 or A1/V1

·         Occupational experience of working with children and in schools.

·         Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification within Education and Health and Social Care

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Adult teaching qualification preferred

·         Excellent organisation and time management skills

·         Self-motivated, able to complete candidates in an early and timely manner

This is a permanent, part-time position.
